Study online in an asynchronous environment for two years, and complete approved internships in your second and third years.

This online program emphasizes data-driven practice, multicultural competence and an anti-racist lens to equip you as a future K-12 counselor. You'll also complete a yearlong practicum and internship in a K-12 setting near you. Alongside Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification preparation, the curriculum supports optional preparation for licensure in mental health counseling and Washington State substance use disorder certification that will uniquely position you to provide integrated care.

Join this program to become an ethical, reflective and multicultural leader in K-12 counseling contexts. Your training includes a full practicum and internship in K-12 schools. You’ll learn to design comprehensive school counseling programs that address academic, social/emotional, and career needs of students. You also have pathways to Washington LMHC licensure and substance misuse certification to help provide integrated care.
